All of our desserts are made to order. (Unlike many other bakeries, nothing we make is ever frozen. It’s all made fresh within 72 hours of your event!)

Get familiar with our process…
Determine how many people you’ll be feeding so you can decide on the size of your cake order. We recommend adding an extra 5 to 10 servings to your estimated group… we’ve never heard of anyone being upset with leftovers and we’d hate for someone to not get a piece (because we know they’ll be missing out!)
The sky is the limit when it comes to flavor! Look through our expansive selection of cake flavors, fillings, and finishing options to choose your perfect combo. If you have an idea of something you’d like to try that’s not listed, feel free to reach out! We’re always open to exploring new ideas and pride ourselves in exceptional flavor, every time.
Fill out our order form with all the details of your occasion. Because we’re in high demand, we recommend ordering at least a few weeks prior to your event (if possible). When describing your dream order, please give us as much detail as possible so we can bring your vision to life!
To secure your order on our calendar, you’ll finish by completing a retainer payment. This ensures we have the necessary fresh ingredients ready to go when it comes time to assemble your order! the remaining payment will be due 1 week prior to the event on standard orders and 2 weeks prior for larger orders (such as weddings). Orders that are not paid for by the due date will forfeit their order and will not receive a refund of their retainer. (We encourage all of our clients to set a calendar reminder for *** week prior to your event to make sure your order is paid for on time).

All base cakes have 2 layers. Base pricing includes sponge cake, filling, and a buttercream flavor of your choice. Includes choice of classic, contemporary, or celebration decorations in colors of choosing. Birthday candles and a small topper are included upon request - Just Ask!

****All buttercream flavors are my signature American buttercream unless otherwise requested. Our signature American buttercream is a less sweet version of the classic. Made with high ratio real butter it has a soft, velvety texture that’s easy to spread and pipe, making it ideal for decorating cakes and cupcakes. I chose American buttercream because it's egg free. It’s also easily workable into a vegan recipe for those with food allergies and dietary restrictions, unlike meringue based buttercreams.

Absolutely! When you submit your order, you'll have the option to add inspiration images within your order form. You'll also be prompted to expand on your design choices. We'll be sure to follow up with you to verify the design if we have any questions!

The sky’s the limit for flavors customizations as well! If you have a custom flavor in mind, or a nostalgic taste you need recreated, I’m happy to accommodate custom flavors upon request. Just add that information to your order form.

The retainer payment is used to secure your place on the calendar. It confirms that you’re serious about your order and provides compensation for the time spent on consultation, designing, and planning your cake, even if you decide to cancel later.

Yes. Great news this means more tasty treats for you. Here at The A.R.T. of caking everything's made fresh to order so I do ask for a $50 minimum order. This order minimum does NOT apply to holiday/special event offerings or up for grab items.

One reminder email will be sent to notify you of your unpaid invoice. If the invoice remains unpaid for 24 hours your order will be canceled and no refund of the retainer will be made. If there are extenuating circumstances I am happy to discuss moving your retainer payment to an order at a later date.

I understand life happens. I will do my best to accommodate you in the event something comes up. I will hold your order for at least 24 hours and do my best to contact you to complete the delivery. However, due to space and freshness, unclaimed orders may no longer be available after 24 hours. Refunds will not be accommodated for failure to pick up your order on time or being unavailable to accept delivery.

Businesses are people too, and as mentioned above I get that life happens. In the event life happens for me and I am unable to deliver the product agreed upon I will do my best to find a solution that works for the both of us, depending on the issue at hand, including but not limited to:
an alternative product or service if the original order cannot be fulfilled as planned.
If the complication affects the timing of your order, I will provide a new estimated delivery or completion date.
If the problem is with the product itself, I can offer to remake/replace it or to make up for the inconvenience I can offer a discount on your current/future order.
In some cases, if the complication is too significant and cannot be resolved, I might have to cancel your order. This is a last resort and in the event this happens, you will be entitled to a full refund of any payments you have made. If I have to cancel your order within 72 hours of the agreed upon pick up OR delivery date an additional refund in the amount of 10% of your order total will be provided to compensate you for the inconvenience.
